CNN just can’t stop talking about the surge. Earlier today they had some analysts talking about why Obama isn’t giving McCain credit for his support of the troop surge in Iraq. I had heard about this before, but this time I was listening to the best news analysts in the world. Do you know how I know? Because CNN actually had it up as a graphic at the bottom of the screen. At this point, why not just hire David Ortiz as your program manager? Then every time the news comes on, the CNN personalities can blow a kiss up towards Jesus. Hold up, Wolf, we gotta do our gloating before we start your show.

Then Wolf was talking about it, and had a bunch of useless, clearly biased people talking about why poor little Obama can’t just admit that the surge worked and he was wrong and McCain was right. Then yet again, on Anderson Cooper 360°, more bullshit about The Surge. From all this talk, you would expect that the future of humanity rested on whether or not Obama gives McCain credit for the surge.

Obama answered the question by saying that hindsight is 20/20, so answering hypothetical questions would not be productive. Yes, he dodged it, but he’s right. Typical politician answer. But I have a simple question for the idiots who can’t stop arguing about the damned Surge. Just a simple question related to what a typical politician in Obama’s position would do. Did you expect a politician who has publicly and opposed a war to support a troop surge?

Oh shit, no, we didn’t think of that one, did we? No idea how big of a hypocrite he might look like then, huh? No idea how much confidence the American people would have in a candidate who wants to withdraw from Iraq but then calls the exact opposite a good idea?

I’ve got an idea for a show. Who wants to sponsor Alex Kozaris 180°?
