No, I won’t do it. I promised myself I wouldn’t. All I’m saying is that it was nice to see the AL struggle with runners in scoring position and fail to score with the bases loaded and 0 out without any Blue Jays in the batting lineup. And Roy Halladay was superb, as always. Okay, I’m done.
I’m finished talking about it. I won’t complain about how I thought Navarro got his feet in under Martin’s tag. I won’t mention that Kinsler wasn’t even tagged. In all honesty, that’s hard for an umpire to get a good look at.
Nor will I say anything about how lucky it was to finally end the game before Kazmir’s arm fell off. That Kazmir sure is good, isn’t he?
I won’t mope about how I wish Michael Young was a Jay. Sure would have solved that shortstop problem.
And I definitely won’t be concerned about Halladay, the rock of the Jays, being frustrated at the fact that they are going nowhere and likely won’t be for a while. And that he’ll probably never see even a single game of playoff action so long as he remains on this team. Nor will Vernon Wells, who leads the team in home runs despite being injured consistently.
Nor will I bring up the Angels, who are below the Jays in hitting (avg, obp) and pitching (team era) yet are in first place in the AL West. And of course not the Rays, who are oozing with young talent. Or the Orioles, who are packing quite a bit of power into their order.
Or anything about baseball for that matter. No more baseball. I’m done. See? I told you I wasn’t going to talk about it.
